Friends of the Urban Forest’s 25th Anniversary Soirée Celebration
Can you imagine San Francisco has little more than half the street trees of similarly sized cities and less trees per square mile than New York?
Since 1981, through community-based tree plantings, FUF has helped plant 40% of the city’s 100,000 trees. Those 40,000 trees are more than all the trees in Golden Gate Park.
This celebration was the first private party to be held on ILM’s new Presidio campus.
